Planning Consultation Update:

We are pleased to confirm that the planning application for the Queen’s Park Family Hub has been successfully submitted, marking an important milestone in the project’s development.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the initial consultation. Your feedback has been invaluable in shaping the proposals and ensuring they reflect the needs of the local community in Westminster.

The new centre will be known as the Queen’s Park Family Hub and will be named in honour of Barrie Taylor, a former Labour Councillor, Deputy Leader of the Labour Group, Chair of the Health Scrutiny Committee (2001–2004), and Chair of a Scrutiny Task Group on Health and Wellbeing. He was made an Honorary Alderman in 2018 following his retirement from the Council.

The proposed Family Hub will bring together health and midwifery services, flexible community spaces and council services within a high-quality, sustainable building, supporting families and children aged 0–19 (25 for SEND) through Children’s Services in partnership with local community and voluntary organisations.

You are now invited to review the updated plans, visualisations, and emerging technical studies developed since the first consultation.
