Removable awnings trial

As part of our work to help residents adapt to hotter summers, Westminster City Council has partnered with London-based design company Shaded to trial removable awnings for sash windows in the Queen's Park. The awnings are suitable for renters and sensitive to planning requirements, making them a practical option for many homes. Twenty households are testing the awnings this summer, and we are evaluating their impact on indoor temperatures and resident comfort.
