Demolition of Sidewalks along 5th Street NW Begins

The existing concrete will be removed and a new brick paver sidewalk will be installed. Street lighting and rain gardens will enhance this street and tie it into the existing downtown streetscapes.

5th Street NW between Avenue B NW and Avenue D NW remains closed from work the StayBridge Suites Hotel was doing as the contractor for the park and streetscape project begins their work along this street. Please follow the detour signs to avoid this part of 5th Street NW.
If you are attending an event at the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce or at the Derry Down please park in the new parking piazza located off 4th Street NW and Avenue C NW.
