City Projects & Community Updates

Welcome to the City of Lebanon’s community updates hub. Here you can follow city projects, learn what we’re working on, and stay informed about improvements happening across our community.

From time to time, we may also share surveys or feedback opportunities so residents can weigh in and help guide future decisions. We’ll post updates, timelines, and ways to stay involved—so you know what’s going on and what’s coming next.

Summer 2026 Street Overlay Program

Summer 2026 Street Overlay Program

The City of Lebanon is planning to resurface 19 streets this summer, covering nearly 3.4 miles of pavement across Wards 1, 2, and 3. Streets were selected using the City's Street Inspection Program, which combines field inspections, traffic counts, and PAVER pavement management software to objectively evaluate every street in the city. This data-driven approach ensures road maintenance dollars go where they're needed most and helps Lebanon stay ahead of more costly repairs over time. This year's overlay program is made possible by the half-cent Transportation Sales Tax, the voter-approved funding source that supports road maintenance and improvements across the city. Work will be performed by Willard Asphalt under the city's annual contract and is expected to begin in July. Street overlay projects are scheduled on a rolling basis citywide, with different areas of Lebanon receiving attention each year based on inspection data.
