Dunedin Marina Update
The City of Dunedin is actively working to restore and rebuild the Dunedin Marina after the significant damage caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Most recently, the City Commission unanimously approved action items directing staff to move forward with the restoration efforts. Check out the updates on the current progress, planned actions, and next steps for this important community amenity.
Weaver Park Living Shoreline
This project's goal is to achieve a stable shoreline that is more resilient and increases habitat. This is a benefit to the community as the project increases safety at Weaver Park along the shoreline, improves our natural ecology, provides education and engagement, and enhances the aesthetic beauty of the park.

Vegetation and Debris Removal from Citywide Drainage Channels
The Curlew Creek, Jerry Branch, and Cedar Creek waterways stretch across approximately 6.5 miles of densely wooded terrain within the City of Dunedin's municipal boundaries. These vital drainage corridors serve multiple watersheds, helping to manage stormwater and prevent local flooding. As natural conveyance channels, they direct water safely through the landscape, ultimately discharging into various points along the Intracoastal Waterway that defines Dunedin’s scenic shoreline.

Midtown Parking Garage
The City of Dunedin is proposing a key infrastructure initiative that supports the vitality and accessibility of Downtown Dunedin: the construction of the Midtown Garage, located at the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Scotland Street. This will be the second parking garage in the city, developed in direct response to community needs and future growth.
Land Development Code Update
The City is looking to update the City's Land Development Code (LDC) to include recent legislative changes, priority updates and provide a document that is consistent, readable, harmonious and user friendly.

The City is replacing 6 force main connections to wastewater lift stations that are over 60 years old.

The City of Dunedin is undergoing a city-wide Strategic Plan process which will engage the community, businesses, residents, and staff in developing a vision for this City and will highlight key focus areas, priorities, and strategies to serve as a roadmap.

The City of Dunedin is looking to renovate and restore the Dunedin Golf Course back in the style of Donald Ross.

The Golf Cart (Micro-Mobility) Infrastructure Plan will place an emphasis on golf cart movement and necessary amenities including electronic vehicle infrastructure.
