In an effort to see savings through economies of scale, TxDOT authorized the city to combine all three grant funded pedestrian improvement projects into one singular project for bidding and construction purposes.

The 2019 Bond Neighborhood 1B project is a part of a multi-phase street reconstruction project to rebuild existing streets that have reached the end of their useful life.

Welcome to the MRQZ Project (Mingo Ruddell Quiet Zone) which was approved in the City of Denton’s 2023 Bond Program. MRQZ comprises four interconnected projects aimed at improving infrastructure and safety.

Construct new and improve accessibility of sidewalk along South side of E. Mckinney Street to provide connectivity from Loop 288 to Audra Ln.

The expansion project will improve the overall shelter environment and capacity to meet the growing community and animal needs.

The Hickory Creek Road Phase 3 project is located on Hickory Creek Road from Riverpass Drive to FM-1830.

This project consists of full depth reconstruction of N Elm Street from W McKinney St to University Drive (US-380) and N Locust St from W McKinney St to University Drive (US-380).

The Denton Solid Waste Fleet Shop project will comprise 14,500 sf of single-story concrete tilt wall construction.
